2009 Plans Announced

After much deliberation, decision making, decision un-making and decision re-making, the plans for the 2009 season have finally been nailed down!

I am proud to announce that we’ll be racing a Kawasaki ZX6RR in the British Supersport Cup with Astro Kawasaki. We will be running our own team under the Astro banner, with Dave Northover (Dad) keeping us under control and Clive in charge of spanner wielding at the meetings. We’ll be competing in Supersport Cup which is essentially the privateer’s race within the main Supersport race, which I’ll also be competing in. The year is intended to be a learning and development year in the supersport championship. My aims are to finish top three in the Supersport Cup and score points in the main supersport championship.

As usual, it’s not going to be cheap, but we’ve got some suitably ridiculous fund raising plans in the pipeline, so watch this space!

First round is at Brands Hatch in April, so lots to do by then!
