You can become a key member of Chris’s
2009 BSB motorcycle racing team...
Introducing: Chris Northover
New commercial opportunities are available to you today through sponsoring Chris Northover, a motorcycle racer competing at the British SuperBike (BSB) Championship. Chris, a 22 year old engineering student from Kent, and more recently Herts. He has been racing motorcycles since 2003, and he’s been riding them since the age of three. Last year he won the MRO Mini-twins championship and he has now stepped up to the British stage for 2008. Chris is a regular front runner in the BSB Superstock 600cc championship and has enjoyed four podium finishes this year
As part of his university degree course, Chris studied motorbike dynamics and handling; he has now secured employment as a Design Engineer with Triumph Motorcycles; that’ll start as soon as he finishes his Masters degree.
Over the last few seasons Chris has received significant media coverage in national press and on television, in local press and across the internet. He is frequently mentioned by trackside and TV race commentators, and he’s getting great TV-picture coverage this year.
The objective of this is to alert you to a positive business opportunity. One that could also be fun and relaxing for you. Please contact Chris Northover to find out more about how you and your company can share in his success.
Like most forms of motorsport, motorcycle racing is expensive. Racing at British level now demands a larger budget than his previous championships have required.
Until this year his racing has been self-funded from his family and friends plus a variety of part-time work including swimming tuition, motorbike repairs, restaurant service, helping out others as a mechanic in the race paddock and, more recently, holiday work including a year’s placement at Triumph Motorcycles as a chassis design engineer. Chris is also fortunate to have friends and family who have always believed in his racing skill and who continue to help him both financially and technically. His own & his current supporters combined means are significant, but are now stretched to their limits. He needs commercial sponsorship now to supplement those funds and enable him to continue to succeed in British SuperBike’s top level National championships.
By helping Chris financially you can become a key part of Chris’s race team at British Superbikes (He will compete in either BSB Supersport or BSB Superstock for 2009.) And you’ll be able to share in the excitement thrills & spills of this exhilarating sport. His team have always taken real pride in the way they look after their sponsors & supporters; I* and his other sponsors & fans can testify to that. Whether you bring your family for the race day or weekend, whether you plan to entertain clients or prospects, or just want to come and relax & unwind from the working week, you can be sure you’ll receive a warm welcome under Chris’s BSB race awning.
The commercial benefits of supporting motorcycle racing can bring you and your company positive media exposure. In 2008, Chris’s every race was televised and his podium winning interviews were all broadcast on TV (Eurosport).
This year his races have already received more than three hours of TV exposure. He’s had countless TV- mentions and sightings. Your company could share in his media exposure: on TV and trackside, on his website, and on the internet in dedicated motorcycle racing sites that feature pictures and race reports. His races are also covered in national motorcycle publications, many carry full reports and pictures. Chris was also recently featured on The Sun newspaper’s homepage and he got good coverage for his sponsor there too.
Idea: Chris’s crash helmets are plain-white or silver and are readily available for a sponsor’s logo; it’s surely a distinctive place to show your company’s name or logo as it can be clearly seen both out on circuit, on the podium, and when being interviewed on TV.
You can put your company name/logo in a prime position on Chris’s helmet(s) for the 2009 season for just £3000.
Other sponsorship options are available.
If as a private person you simply want to help Chris, and if maybe you need a personal-use ticket to come and watch him and others in 2009, then a personal contribution of £900 would go down really well.
You’ll always be welcome in his team awning if you can help make it happen for Chris this year.
Contact Chris today. If you can help to keep him on track, and continuing his current success at British SuperBike meetings, he’ll be over the moon to hear from you.
